Couponing: Part Four—Printable Coupons

Printable coupons are a great thing!!  However, they also bring about issues that aren't so great.

With every good thing, there is someone out there who
can make it bad and ruin it for everyone.  There have been times when people have altered printable coupons.  This has led some stores to not accept that specific coupon or to not accept any printables for a period of time.  This is why you need to check with the stores you plan to shop at and inquire about their policy regarding printables.  You may also want to ask:

1.  If they need to be printed in colored ink or black and white
2.  If they need to be printed on white paper.  (I say this because I know someone who tried to use a     printable coupon that was printed on cream-colored paper.  The store wouldn't accept it.)

Another warning:  If you find online printables that are distributed in a PDF format, don't use them.  They are usually fraudulent.

Some sites where one can find printable coupons is, and numerous other ones.  Also, register at couponing websites such as:  Hot Coupon World and Our Coupon Home .Those two websites have coupon databases where you can type in a product and see if there are any coupons being offered for it.  The databases will tell you if the coupons are in inserts, magazines, mailed to your house or printables.  Plus, you can meet other couponers and build friendships with like-minded individuals and be informed about fraudulent printables that are being circulated.

Usually, printables websites will permit you to print two coupons per computer.  If you have access to two computers, you can then get four coupons.  Also, ask your friends/family if they can print coupons for you.

Some printable websites do require you to download "bricks" to be able to print the coupons.  I have found that I have more problems printing coupons from my IE (Internet Explorer) browser than if I use my Mozilla Firefox browser.  That's something to keep in mind, too.  Mozilla is free to download.

Go to the websites of your favorite products and see if there are any coupons offered to print.

Well, that's all I can think of to share on this topic.  Have fun printing your coupons and saving money!

Happy Couponing!!
