While traveling earlier this month, I learned how to save a couple dollars!!
The day before my flight, I received an e-mail from Continental asking me how I wanted to obtain my airline ticket. There were a variety of choices.
I was then asked if I wanted to check my bag online.
My interest was heightened when I read that I could save $2.00 by doing so. I accepted the offer. The site then asked if my bag met the weight requirements to avoid an overweight charge. After that, credit card payment info was required.
My confirmation number, (that’s the way I chose to log into the kiosk at the airport), provided information telling the Continental personnel that I had paid my baggage fee in advance.
Since I chose to use the service on both ends of my trip, I saved a total of $4.00. That’s enough for me to buy a gallon of milk and maybe a small package of cookies to go with it. :-)
