Disclaimer: I viewed Sprouts as part of a media event. I was given a goody bag of items to try.
(See the picture, above? There were more items in the bag before my family attacked it!) However, the goody bag didn’t influence my opinions about Sprouts. All opinions are my own.
Spring has sprung in Houston, and with it comes Sprouts—Sprouts Farmers Market--Spring Cypress that is!
The newest store opened on Wednesday April, 17th at the Spring Cypress location of: 22506 Tomball Parkway (where 249 and Spring Cypress meet).
The Sprouts tag line is “It’s Healthy Living For Less” and that was evident when looking at the prices and products throughout the store. Inventory consists mostly of food (organic and non-organic produce; seafood and meats; a deli and a bakery; wine and beer; dairy; bulk items, etc) and over 6000 vitamin/supplement items (which I plan to focus on in another post).
One of my favorite sections of the store is the bulk area where over 300 items are sold. When standing in that area, the customer has a view of the whole store because of the low shelving. That makes it especially easy to locate other sections of the store along with locating missing members of your shopping party when they have wandered away in search of Sprouts goodies!
Learning about the Bulk Food section.
Sprouts Famers Market is a place where I plan to shop. It’s not too big as to overwhelm the senses and it’s well-lit. Prices are good and Sprouts will have weekly sales like other grocery stores. However, don’t take my word for it. Check it out for yourself! Other Sprouts Farmers Markets will be opening in Copperfield and on Westheimer Rd. in the coming weeks. Another location that is already open is in Katy. (Psst…click this link to check on the upcoming openings: Sprouts Farmers Market locations)
